About this blog

I've been meaning to write a blog for a while now & I've finally put pen to paper.... so to speak! I couldn't wish for a more enjoyable, fulfilling & entertaining job.

I hope you enjoy the tales as much as I have.

Can a 2 year old swim?

Thursday 12 November 2015 at 5:21 pm. Used tags:

I was out in a park recently, training a Shih Tzu pup & we came across a lovely woman & her 2 year old with a working Cocker. The little boy was loving all the attention from not one, but two dogs now. However, after a while, as 2 year olds do, he got distracted & wandered off. Suddenly his mum caught sight of him toddling directly towards the lake!

She immediately called him to wait, to which his response was to point to the lake & cry like a banshee "WAAATEERRR" & he continued to make a beeline for the lake! Fortunately 2 years olds haven't quite developed Usain Bolt like acceleration & his mum was able to catch up with him in time, but returned slightly paler than she was a few seconds ago. ;~}
